Dinosaurs where extinct by a large asteroid that hit from space.The Asteroid hit the ground from space about 66 million years ago.That is why they are extinct.Dinosaurs are reptiles and there are types of dinosaurs like T-Rex/The king,Brachiosaurus/The tallest dinosaurs and Stegosaurus and Tyrannosaurus.
Dinosaurs means terrible lizards and they are reptiles.
