Science Investigation
Task 1:
What causes Blood pressure?
If you run a lot you get Blood pressure
MMHG
60-80 MMHG
120-80 MMHG= High Blood pressure.
Task 2.
Carefully read and understand this recording and planning guide so you are systematic in scientific thinking, experimenting, recording and interpreting.
Follow logically through each section so you are thorough in your science investigation steps.
Complete each section with details needed so you have carefully logged your project...and so an outsider can know and understand too.
1 | My science investigation TOPIC:
|
2 | My investigation question Which physical Heart Rate Result in High and low Blood pressure.
|
3 | Background research and knowledge I will explore as a backdrop to my investigation What is Pulse rate/ Heart Beat? Pulse rate is your measure of your Blood pressure. |
|
4 | Aim of my investigation. To find out your questions.
|
5 | My investigation steps Materials / resources / people: Ocean,Aleki and Texas Tennis ball, stop watch, smart watch.
STEP 1 | We get a Watch and stop watch.
| STEP 2 | We Did different Physical Activity
| STEP 3 | Got one Person to do the stop watch .
| STEP 4 | We record our Heat rate. | STEP X | Wrote it all down on a document.
|
|
6 | My possible recording method
Data collection table: Name of the Activity | Length of Activity | Beat counted in 30 second | Heart Rate mmHg | Sitting | 30 seconds |
| 55mmHg | Jogging on Spot | 30 seconds |
| 111mmHg | Throwing and Catching ball | 30 seconds |
| 82mmHg | Stretching | 30 seconds |
| 84mmHg | Star Jumps | 30 seconds |
| 109mmHg | Running as fast as possible on spot | 30 seconds |
| 80mmHg |
| Photos and Videos:
|
|
7 | Result: 1.The Lowest Heart Rate Was:Sitting down 2:The Highest Heart Rate was:Jogging on the spot. 3:What you think this might be: it saws our heart beat. |
Well done Texas!!!
